Company Representatives

A Company Representative is the liaison between his or her company and the OSA-Rochester Section. The main duties of Company Reps include:

• Print and post the OSA talk announcements twice a month, or forward the announcement e-mails to colleagues that may be interested.
• Encourage interest and participation in OSA talks and activities. Invite co-workers to join OSA-RS and remind members to renew their membership.

Other duties may include:

• Accept membership renewal forms and dues payments from colleagues and forward them to treasurer.
• Accept Annual Dinner payment and registration from colleagues.
• Help track down "lost" OSA-RS members, such as those who have joined or left the company or have changed e-mail addresses.
• Help colleagues get in touch with the OSA-RS Council with questions, concerns and ideas.

Company Reps are not required to attend every talk but we encourage them to come to as many talks and events as they can.
