Abstract

The market for automotive (ADAS)/drone/AR/VR camera solutions has grown tremendously. Requirements are continuing to push performance metrics for the lens systems concurrent with sensor capabilities. As sensors continue to gain resolution and drive AI algorithms, the manufacturing of the lens-to-sensor must be automated, typically via closed loop MTF feedback.

This presentation will focus on the measurements made to verify the optical parameters commonly used in the automated manufacturing process flow.

Trioptics provides lab-to-production volume systems for measurement and/or active control of various optical parameters like centration, alignment, MTF, color, wavefront and more. These measurements are also integrated into various machine tools to provide feedback control with automated manufacturing.

About the speaker
